The scope of the project was to provide a cost-effective highly detailed move of existing fiber optic cable for Siena Hall while the building was under renovation. Siena Hall is the fiber optic Hub for all existing buildings on the East side of the campus.
Assessed existing room design and layout.
Developed a comprehensive time-sensitive two-phase plan to relocate the existing fiber optic cabling, during renovation, within the same room all cables are terminated or spliced as the distribution location for the east Campus.
Provided Phase I plan to move Telecommunication cables during renovation.
Developed Phase II plan to move fiber optic Data connectivity and copper Voice connectivity feeding Siena Hall.
Developed Phase II plan to install telecommunications outlet and backbone cabling for the entire building.
Provided efficient negotiation and information exchanges processes, resulted in expedited decisions and lower costs.
Recommended the best possible scenarios for Phase I and Phase II to occur without disruption to campus connectivity or the renovation.
Reviewed and documented each contractors capacity to meet the requirements.
Precisely reviewed and documented progress of all moving and installation of cabling.
